Reportage Rationale

South Leeds

For my reportage project I am going to take the journey from Leeds city centre, starting around the train station, down Dewsbury road, and finishing at White rose shopping centre. Along the route I am going to look in close detail the surfaces and characteristics, of places or objects that I find along the way. I feel that the best way of doing this is by keeping my focus on macro. I am going to do it this way because I feel that it highlights all the textures and features of anything that I want to express about my journey. I am going to concentrate on objects in the environment that people may not always notice, yet still manage to work, live and take for granted in their everyday lives.
